About the Symposium:

Penn State Law Review holds an annual symposium in the spring, providing a forum for scholars to discuss forthcoming or recently published articles. This year’s symposium will feature authors from across the globe discussing the intersection of advancing technology and the law. Previous symposia have featured discussions on big data, insurance and cyber security, mergers and acquisitions, and many other diverse areas of legal scholarship.

How it Works:

The Editor-in-Chief and Executive Articles Editor select a topic during the preceding summer, gathering ideas from friends, colleagues, and Penn State Law faculty. After selecting a topic, the Penn State Law Review solicits articles in the fall. Based on the articles selected, the Law Review works with the authors to prepare the articles for both presentation at the symposium and later publication in the third issue of the corresponding volume of the Penn State Law Review.
